For many years I kept a blog at MyOpera. I chronicled my baking adventures there and when MyOpera announced its closure I moved it to WordPress.
Find me there at www.comraderadmila.com. I am not going to recreate the blog here but joined Vivaldi because I’m a loyal old MyOpera person.

Just as me. Правда, мой блог на русском. 🙂
The coconut macadamianut cookie recipe looks great. I’m going to give this a try. Thanks.

…who cares?
This story [ur=http://comraderadmila.wordpress.com/2013/12/21/unexpected-turns-so-far-from-home/]Unexpected turns – So far from “home”[/url] is much more interesting!
Sorry for “syntax error”. I need me yet to get used to the board-syntax. :p
The story was interesting indeed. But the recipes are what interest me more. I’ve started baking of all things. Why? Boredom with the internet and too much time on my hands. My wife, who is my junior, works five days a week whereas I work three (basically to keep out of trouble! LOL). Anyway, a few months back I thought: what the heck! Let’s make some coffee cake and it was awesome. So the blog (at the other location) is a wealth of information to me. My waistline will probably not be as pleased.
Well, we are all happy to see blogs – whether they are на русском or not. 🙂
My blog is a mix of recipes and actual stories/random thoughts on life – so you can get a bit of both.
Definitely give some recipes a try – if you are the person who asked how to search the blog, I did comment that I added a search function finally. 🙂
Yes, I was that person. Thanks. I’ll go over and check it out. I made a tiramisu for our Christmas dinner. Didn’t have “lady fingers” so I made a pound cake and sliced it to line the bottom of the dish as well as become the middle layer. Eggs, sugar, coffee, Kahlua (not rum)… this little dessert rocks the house. Anyway… I’ll buzz over to the other site.
Addendum: left a message (Sept. 24th entry) regarding the new search bar. 🙁
Yeah I saw the comment on the other site – and the search bar works fine. It is just that I never made or wrote about tiramisu so you would never find that in my blog… so that is why it appears not to work. 🙂 It can’t find something that does not exist.
Ah… gotcha. Thanks.
